I just had a quick browse on AutoTrader UK (coz that's where I am) and for a 2024 model 73kwh with delivery miles - £23,859 😲 Bargain ! You want the 4WD 113Kwh model - £29,499 😲 I think that is an absolute steal for the specs alone, I wouldn't get one personally because in the UK it's group 50D insurance as far as I know (maybe that's changed due to the company's financial position) and my current Nissan LEAF is group 21 (My 3rd LEAF since 2015 😁), but apart from that, I love the look of the cars design, there are some niggles in the software & build - and I would take Influencers (like Marcus) with a large dose of salt & do my own research and look at the car personally myself 👍 thanks for the quick unbased review 😁

tri-motor reservation disappointments: 1. no six seat under front armrest 2. range below expectations 3. priced way above reservation price If at least two out of three could have been met (1&2, 1&3), i would have one by now. For those that say range is of no issue, i find it hard to believe that they will use it for camping with family at remote areas with limited infrastructure without worry while towing something small, heck even without towing. At this point unless it has more seats i’ll have to stick to a different vehicle :-(

Cybertruck could have knocked it out of the park if they kept closer to their original price "promised" ($39,000).. even if they had to do a Fisker Ocean and just sell them at or near cost. Tesla should have done this initially for the first year or two, then raise prices. Also too with the much lower price tag, people (including the haters) would forgive them for the negatives of the truck (i.e. lousy towing capabilities, less than promised battery/range, the rusting issues, etc), all things forgivable on a $39,000 vehicle, but not on a vehicle that cost 3 times the original price stated at up to $120,000!

When you have a battery that cost $15,000+ to fix or replace go bad and there’s a dent and a couple scratches it’s automatically useless.

Seems like a gross misrepresentation to say "there's no more line", considering everyone who wants a Cybertruck but doesn't want to pay for a Foundation Series is still in line. The conversion rate on that may be 1-2% but the overall conversion rate of pre-orders will be far higher once they stop making Foundation Series.

There is no way the solar panel is working as well as you think it is. The voltage out of the solar panel needs to be higher than the battery voltage in order to charge the battery. In order yo charge the battery you need a solar charge controller with a boost function. Also, you don’t want to strap the solar panel to the roof because that shades the cells and significantly decreases the output. Instead, you want to clamp on the sides to bolt from the bottom.
